
Bob Mallard is the former owner of Kennebec River Outfitters and is a Registered Maine Fishing Guide.
He is a founding member and Executive Director of the Native Fish Coalition.
Bob is a blogger, a writer, an author, and unique fly designer, and a native fish advocate.
He has written for numerous sporting columns in both local and regional magazines and newspapers.
He is also a prolific author and has published 5 highly regarded books on Fly Fishing.
Bob is a passionate writer that has a reputation for conducting intensive research based on published scientific data rather than speculation.
He is a fly designer for Catch Fly Fishing and is on the Pro Staff for Epic Fly Rods and Scientific Anglers.
He drives the quintessential guide vehicle, the Toyota FJ Cruiser, and can often be spotted bouncing down the dirt roads of Maine in search of native fish in remote parts of the state.
Bob enjoys fishing and guiding for Native fish on remote streams and ponds in Maine and lives with his talented wife, Diana, in their home in Skowhegan, Maine.
